The idea had to be drawn somewhere to give some presentation significance – so we plotted it on Hagley park – its poetic location knowing its across from where the massacre took place but as Architect this location is not up to me – its up to powers to be – Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch all fit in the tick box.  I would say even Rotorua if we are to believe that Rotorua is the birthplace of Maoridom, NZ tourism and timber forestry.
